No affiliation, I thought I would pass this on hoping the original 914 owner might be looking for this engine: Engine stamping *6410235* corresponds to a 901/36 flat-six produced for a 1971 914/6. (Auction ends Feb 4th at 11:35am). This 2.0-liter Type 901/36 flat-six was removed from a 1971 Porsche 914/6 and was purchased by the seller in 2015 before being refurbished by the seller’s shop, Bach Racecraft. Equipment includes a refurbished distributor, oil cooler, and Weber carburetors as well as an ignition coil, cooling fan and shroud, alternator, and airbox. This Type 901/36 flat-six has been run-in and tuned and is now offered by the seller in Verona, Wisconsin.
