Hi my name is Mark ..........and I have a 914 problem

I have enough that I need to start working on them to thin the heard down. I planned to drop the motor and clean this one up nice and pretty, but let's face it, how much time do I have to spare right now.

With that being said I decided to list it up with the a price that reflects there is some work (like blasting the exhaust and Ceracoating it). The full asking price includes new door panels, with the thermal formed new pockets, new seats in stock pattern. Currently one is correct with some tears in the bolster and the other is a VW pattern that is close but not right.

My full asking price of 22K includes that and repainting the rear deck lid.

I picked up this car in Reno several years ago and it's been a great runner. It's the same one I drove to WCR for the last 3 years+ Bahia red. It has had 3 previous owners, (2 were titled. I have a batch of receipts and the original maintenance dealer book. They show the maintenance with mileage that supports the 135k showing.

This car has had some modifications. Originally a 4 point harness that went through the firewall and had large washers to hold it in (IMG:style_emoticons/default/screwy.gif)
Cary patched these for me and it is back to stock belts.

The car also has drilled rotors on all 4 wheels.
A 10k Tach
a combo Gage on the left with oil pressure.

I'm pretty sure there has been some motor work I'm thinking it went 1911 at some point. I was told that it was being set up for racing, so that would make sense. It may have been balanced in that it starts up and goes right to 1050 RPM. Not 1200 and back down. This is my speculation. It did however dyno out at 76HP at the rear wheels.

The good
New shocks / struts about 5k ago, also new lower ball joints and tie rod ends.
New E-brake cables
Currently adding new door panels (old ones shown included) as well as new seat vinyl to match stock.
New dash - Looks great!
Running stock fuel injection.
LE spoiler
Tow bar
offset oil cooler in rear for additional capacity and cooling
New pillar at front windshield.
Many new seals and I'm changing out the main and roof seals before selling
Also new front pad
New visors
New correct rain tray
Currently running stainless exhaust, or can change back to ANSA with rear valance - I have Ceracoated this.
New alternator with New wiring harness
New fuel pump
LED headlights
Front sway bar (no rear)
Factory undercoating on main floor pan!

NO RUST- I have taken a few money shots, happy to get more and you can look at it on a rack if you get that serious.

Yes I know this is a big claim, but all those years in the desert have preserved it nicely.........except the paint.

It was repainted in 1983 by Miracle in Reno. It's a good 10ft job. The rear deck lid needs to be reshot as it was touched and it can be seen. I did look at getting it reshot and still may this winter if I don't sell it.

It is also missing the fog lights, I will include a set with new glass at full asking price, may even get to putting these in.

I'll get more shots up as requested, but with my schedule I'm only in 3 days a week in the summer.

Here's what I have so far.
