Can someone tell me what the correct part number / size is for the woodruff key used to secure the fan to a 914-6 Bosch 770W generator? The part is not identified in the catalog.
I had information suggesting it was N-012-710-1 4 x 6.5 mm for '65-77 911. I have tried to install the Porsche supplied part a few times and it is certainly too tall. None of the alternates I find from the normal suppliers list this use for their woodruff key offerings. Trying to measure the opening in the shaft and the fan, my best guess is it wants 4 x 5. Thank you.  |
