I have newly refurbished brake calipers that I am trying to install for the first time. New rotors and pads too. One of the 8 pistons will not compress sufficiently to allow me to the install the brake pad on that side. I have:
* Swapped brake pads * Removed the caliper from the car worked on it on the bench * Attempted to compress the piston with quick-action clamp * Backed off the adjustment screw I will of course call the vendor, but that puts me two days behind. I'm hoping for something obvious that I'm missing... Original 914-6 calipers if it matters. Thanks. ![]() |
