Sunday morning as I was pulling out of the driveway I noticed a flash under the dash, then i realized the gauge lights were out.

Worked on it last night and put in what is labeled as an 8 amp fuse (from Amazon)

Turned lights on and after a minute or two it melts the fuse.

Tried it again tonight and same thing.

I was under the center console recently getting my blower motor control lever to make the fan work (turned out to be fuse in engine compartment)

I don't think i disturbed anything under there.

Any thoughts on what else to look for?
