Hey there, realized I made a dumb mistake on purchasing the incorrect height air cleaner from PMO. I have standard length velocity stacks on my webers, but I purchased the short air cleaner. The issue I am running into with this is the top of the filter assemble gives basically no clearance to the top of the stack causing lack of air getting into the carbs.
Specific question related to the standard length and short length from PMO. Is the only difference between these 2 parts from them, the stud lengths that attached the of the assembly as well as the filter element itself? I would think they use the same base and top, just the filter and studs change the length? I found where I can get both to convert to the standard height, but just want to be sure. Thanks! Wanted to be clear, this is for IDA3C on a 6 |
