I recently came across a vintage VW beetle guy (Vocho) selling some parts.. he knows nothing about the items in this picture, but he claims they were used on a 914. The headers don't necessarily look like 914 items, type IV yes.. but could those flanges be 911 - basically so a 911 muffler could be run on a 914? Or maybe that's just standard old VW stuff? Anyone know, or have an idea? I might grab them to replace a crappy set up I have on one of my cars, or even an engine start up stand.
Then there is that sway bar... again he claims it was on a 914. It obviously doesn't look like the original set up, but I almost think I remember someone saying they've used a 911 'under car' bar on their 914. Anyone recognize it and or know if it's doable with this bar? Attached image(s)
