Getting close to finishing the engine for an ‘86 turbo. He’s also a 914 owner (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
Soon it will be on the test stand and once it’s running, we will convert to electronic ignition and coil on plug. I can’t remember the compression ratio but I recall it being a bit more than stock. The real hero of the build is the cam and turbo upgrade. Cams are turbo SC and the turbo is highly modified and builds boost 500-800 rpm’s earlier than stock. We’ve built two similar engines and they are a hoot. Hopefully it will make the owner smile. Attached thumbnail(s) |
