Last week, @BeatNavy gave up his entire Friday to walk me through dropping my engine, inspecting my valve train, teaching me the art of a valve adjustment (i.e., show me what I was doing wrong), putting on new adjuster screws, and get my T4 motor purring again. I know 914 community is full of kind and helpful humans, but Rob is as amazing as they come. I hope I can one day pay it forward to someone who needs help and my skill level allows me to be of value.
Thanks, Rob. You're the best.    You can't tell in the last pic, but there was a lot of cursing, bloody knuckles, and a couple of angry wives wondering what their husbands were. |
