I purchased the car and drove it for about a year and then started on the 6 conversion. The body and the Ivory White paint are very good given the age of the vehicle, and it is one of the most corrosion-free 914s I have seen. The car had fiberglass flares installed several years ago and they are still in great condition. The "hell hole," trunk, and frunk are all solid, as can be seen in the photos. There was a spoiler installed on the rear decklid when we purchased it; it was removed, exposing 4 holes that will need to be addressed. The interior is in excellent condition with no rips or tears. The dash is excellent and crack free. The bulk of the 6 conversion has been completed and most parts to complete the project are included. The chassis has been prepped to receive the included oil tank. The engine came from a running 914 and was purchased from a local enthusiast who pulled it to install a 3.6. Included in the sale: Jerry Woods-built 2.2-liter Carrera S spec, built on a T-case Italian Weber 40 IDA carbs, manifolds, and linkage Ceramic-coated headers Muffler (not pictured) Powder-coated engine sheet metal Fabricated oil tank Oil filler neck and cap Oil console Oil cooler converted for a 6 installation Hardware to mount the oil tank and oil console Misc. hardware, gaskets, o-rings I'm looking for $27,000 with a set of 15x7 Cookie Cutters. $30,000 with the pictured 17" Lindsey Fuchs, which are essentially new old stock wheels. Also, I may have a 911 front suspension aluminum crossmember, control arms, strut assemblies, wheel hubs, and rotors available, also a set of front and rear 2.0-liter sway bars, end links, and front sway bar mounting kit. |
