What might be causing a high idle speed (near 2000 rpm) when starting the car when its cold? Blipping the throttle has no effect. Stays near 2000. Once its warmed up, idle drops to around 800- 900.
I know the aux air regulator keeps idle high until it closes up when warmed. I tested it and it seems to work fine. Does this 2000 rpm idle speed when cold seem high to you guys? Does the adjustment knob on the ECU have any effect on idle speed? Also, when backing off the gas, the engine speed does not drop right away. Possible cause for this?
