So, I have had a fuel pump go out, I got a used one from Premier Auto sales. About a week later it went out, and Dave offered to replace it even thorugh they don't warrantee used parts. Great service, nice guys
So I pulled the pump and just checked it on battery, ran fine (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) Little testing and I have power but pump won't run (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif) I called Brad Mayeur 914ltd and he says "ground wire! check the ground" (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/huh.gif) Checked power with ohm meter to chassie and have power, check between power and ground wire and (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) Run new ground (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mueba.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif) So thanks to premier for going past my expecations, I'll send the second pump back and pay your postage. And thanks again to Brad who (again) trouble shot my car over the phone (in about 15 seconds (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) ) I vouch for both these businesses.
