I'm changing to 6 bolt 951 CVs like Andy and Aaron.
I need some education on the differences in 944/951 stub axles and whichones will work. I have been told there are early and late stub axles (short and long). Please tell if this will work. Following is the planned setup: - 914/901 transaxle - LSD from a 915 with six bolt output flanges - 951 (1986) inner CV joint - 914 axle (modified to fit 951 CV) - 951 (1986) outer CV joint - 951/944 stub axle ???? which ones???? - pre-74 911 stub axles Thanks Eddie 914 ps: the 3.2 should be ready soon and I need to get all the other stuff finished soon! Any one up for and install party? |
