Someone on the MSEFI board has $30/hp in their signature.
My 914 (a 1.7) cost me $3000 for it's 80hp, or $37.50/hp. My FIAT also cost me $3000, but it makes 96hp ($31.25). I sold my 912 for $6000, so the new owner paid $67 for each of its 90hp. My wife paid $119/hp for her Subaru. Never mind it will do 14sec 1/4 mile times... I think my record would be my '87 RX-7 Turbo, $3000 for 190hp, a bargain at only $15.79/hp. My record the other way would be my '99 Miata, at $171. |
