It appears my throttle cable stuck and my car revved to the max on my tach - only for a moment before I shut the car down. It did this twice, but I was able to carefully drive the car home and it seemed to run OK. Even started back up several times on my way home, but will not start now? Did I do permanent damage? Any way to tell - drain oil and see what metal comes out? Any chance it is something simple like need to change the plugs? HELP?
