Attached are 3 pics to the bezels I made for my Gt style door panels.

Lasering the part and hammering it's shape is the easy part. The hard part comes when I realized that there is not enough mat'l to fold around the back of the door panel to secure the bezel once installed.

I had to add a couple of strips of mat'l to make the part fit thru the panel, then bend around the back of the panel.

I tried a spot-welder,but no room to work that,I tried tig'n them,to much heat as there was burn-thru.Lastly,I spot mig'd them on,which is where the part begins to look kinda iffy from an appearance stand point.

Last pic shows the part w/a heavy coat of semi-gloss paint, and it does hide mostly all of the sins.Enough to use the bezel and not be ashamed of it's look.

I gonna keep trying to solve the issue of the extra tabbing material.

When I do,then I'll be comfortable with these as a good product.

BTW,I made these up last night.

Ron
