i was changing my oil today and i did it as i would any other car, pulled the drain plug, drained the oil and changed the filter, but when i added more oil, it only took 3.5 quarts and that was too much(by a little) and when i chacked the dip stick, it came back with dirty oil still on it, and my question is that, by pulling the drain plug, is that going to drain all the oil, or do i have to do more to get it all out? it just didnt seem like it was all out.

thanks
