How much is possible with the engine still in the car? (1975, 1.8).
I’m about ready to give up. I’ve gotta try something. She always runs hot. I think I vapor locked yesterday. Had to get pushed off the freeway then started right up once I got it home. It also started “pinging”, for the first time…..ever. (stock L-jet)
I figure it couldn't hurt to check for a cooling obstruction under the tin and spray off any gunk from the oil cooler. It’s a start. I have also new engine tin seals to install. Those should help too.
