I bought this complete set of axles for a 67 911 with Lobro joints. When they arrived they looked very familiar. I put them, side beside a set of 4 axles. Right off the top the were identical. Then I got to looking very close. I took the stubs off the 911 axles and one of a 4 axle. There are some interesting pictures. Look at the thickness of the 911 one compaired to the skinny 4 axle. However the strangest part is they are splined the same as 914-4 axle. They do not fit a 914-6 hub.
