...I am preparing my 74 T4 for a 2.4 MFI six. While I'm rebuilding the six, I will be running the 1911cc T4. I want to install and use a 911 combo gauge.
I was thinking that if I ran an external cooler using the oil filter mounting point I could create a "T" section for the correct sensor for the oil pressure and another sensor (orig location) for the temperature on the case. I am worried that the pressure just outboard of the case would be incorrect (reading a lower pressure at that point). Am I wrong with that thinking? How do get the oil pressure/temp combo going?
