A Porsche shop close to me (Little Rock, Ar.) has a 2.0 914 the owner wants to sell. It is a '72 vin with a 2.0 engine and rear emblem. Don't know the reason a '72 has a 2.0 unless the motor and emblem has been transplanted or 2.0's were put into the very late '72's.
Body is straight and I found no serious rust anywhere I looked. (under mats pass. compt., F & R trunks) Not sure about the Hell Hole..... Mice have gotten into the front trunk and chewed wiring where it comes through into the trunk. Needs paint and rechromed front bumper. Interior so, so. Cracked top dash. Needs new tires and wheels refinished. Overall though a good solid chassis and body. Car runs and drives ok. $1,500 would probably buy it.... PM me for more info......Can get owner's phone number/take pics of it. |
