Hi Everyone -
The upper valve covers on the 2.7 are the unfinished/natural type. They are "clean" but have some stains around the bolt recesses and the enclosed areas of the "porsche" lettering. I am trying very hard not to fall prey to the "well, since I am in there" disease - but would still like to do some detailing.
What is the original finish of these covers? are they aluminum or mag like the case? Per the other thread, I was thinking of just soda blasting them with one of those hopper style guns they sell at Harbor Frt.

Any info is appreciated - thanks!
