![]() Then build this 36 foot train playset in the back yard for my son ![]() Then finish the interior of the 70 914 ![]() Then seriously look for a very nice 80's VW caddy pickup. Then all the other home projects |

Here is my '71 chevelle, I have been tuning it lately to get into the 12's in the quarter mile... Fastest so far is 13.02@107mph.
Then I'll get back to my 914. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Its amazing how different American cars are from German cars... Attached image(s)

Its amazing how different American cars are from German cars... That Chevelle looks great! They are just fun in different ways! Nothing like feeling the V8 torque in a straight line, and nothing like a car that can do twisties and cruise on the interstate for hours while getting 30 mpg! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Cars are just cool, bottom line! |

I've got the V8 in the Volvo up and running, and finished the front brake conversion (Mazda RX7 turbo ii with bigger discs). Audi got new front window regulators this weekend. Now it's time to put a roof on the house.

I am busy bee working on upping the power of this bugger:
![]() OOOps! Wrong pic.... Let me try again... ![]() Yes, this is it - 1967 Piper Cherokee 140 with Lycoming O-320 power and quite a bit of speed mods. Flap/aileron gap seals, nose strut fairing, completely re-rigged flight controls, and a few other unmentionables. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Right now I got her to a point of 144MPH true airspeed @ 8000K feet at a fuel flow of 7.8 GPH. This thus far has given me roughly 19MPG@140 MPH. Next on the list is Millenium cylinders top overhaul with a powerflow exhaust and repitched cruise prop. I have my eye on 160 MPH true at altitude at around the same GPH. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif) New leather interior in 1996. Getting a bit worn and thinking of replacing... |
