There is that, but for a small amount, we can possibly unite things so that the acrimony goes away (for the most part at least).

Like CART and IRL, Tony won but lost his job. It took ten years and millions of dollars and the sport will never be the same again, but it is back together.

We don't need 2 sites, but I do visit the other one once in a while but only when I can't find what I need here first. I'll help pay to put it back together and welcome all their members here with open arms. I miss a bunch of them.

The past is the past. I check both sites, but like the world better. The one thing I like on the club that is not here is in the classified section. I like the craigslist section. Yes I use the zimkiv search also (found Here)

My one issues is 914world is run on perl on a windows host, which is why you see it go down so often.

Invision ( IPS) powers both boards, and they are PHP and mySQL - check the credits at the bottom of the page!

sorry, this is the only part of this thread that interests me anymore.

90% of the people over there are here too. to me this still feels like the 'club' of the olden days. yea, I still miss some of the ones that don't come over here as often... I've been around this site for a long time tho. there will always be a little drama for those seeking it.

914 World domination. I use and like both sites but man the ego's over here are bit too much. Yeh I understand the long and bitter history and bad blood but you guys have to get over yourselves. As Ringo says 'Peace and Love Peace and Love' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif)

Showing my computer ignorance here:

Do we have a vested interest in what happens to the other site? For example, is there a connection at the server that allows cross-posts between the sites? And could such things be used for Evil purposes by the new owners?
