ya, it isnt quite that high in the valley yet but getting there, which is why i've been driving the 914 recently, 30-35 mpg in the is a lot better than 17-20 in the tacoma.

just got back from england... 77 pence or about $1.46 per liter there. that stung to fill the tank.

i will not complain about our price of $1.69 per gallon for regular here in western mass.

now if only the roads weren't more salty than the ocean so i could drive the teener! though the first drive of spring is for a new windshield..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I wish I could buy hydrogen.

Hub motors on trains generate LOTs of torque - which is why the Electic Elise prototype was faster than the gas powered one.

I am pseudo toying with converting the subaru motor to propane and running turbo propane in there.... anyone have ideas or thoughts about that??

hi folks,

you lucky ones don't live here in germany. I've actually paid yesterday 1,10 Euro (not per gallon, per liter),
which is 4,16 Euros per gallon.

If you take the actual dollar to euro exchange ratio into account then it's .... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)

that leads me to the best argument for sports cars: if you have to pay that much money for gas, then you have to
choose the right car with the highest fun factor !!!
