Does your 73 have a Ballast Resistor in the system that could cause that problem

Yes actually...it's GREAT source of info...actually better than the Bosch Factory injetcion manuals I have from the 70's

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!

Great thanks to all who offered thier knowledge.....Answer is Bad trigger contacts in distributor....basically not telling ecu engine speed for enrichment...Screams like she should
