For any of you who are into model building or just neat guy stuff and are within a reasonable distance of York PA, there is the Cabin Fever Expo on the weekend of January 15th.
Cabin Fever Model cars, model boats, stationary engines, steam engines, model trains, machiening tools and supplies, Stuff! No affiliation other than as an attendee... Attached image(s)

I never had the opportunity to attend this event but a friend went last year and brought back many pictures and videos of amazing models. It is hard to believe that they actually have working engines in many of the models.

This looks pretty cool. Gotta have something to do during the cold winter months.
I've always liked models and built them too. Here's 2 of my favorites. The McLaren M8D was built from an M8B model with some mods. Of course I had to build a model of one of the finest race cars ever built, the Porsche 917. I saw both the M8D and 917 race at Watkins Glen in the early 70s. Both were magnificent cars.
