I caught only a glimpse of the show and tried to pay attention to the show but at the time my wife was telling me very important news about her day or something. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif)
Anyway, they had a car on there that seemed pretty cool. I believe it was a 1964 Griffin??? . It had a Ford 351 Windsor under the hood. I would be suprised if this thing weighed 1500lbs. I think it is a fiberglass body. All I could hear at the time was bla bla bla bla bla. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif) Anyone know anything about these? I googled it but came up empty. Here is the link to the episode, but there is no other details. It is photo 13 from the left. http://www.myclassiccar.com/episode/15/19/ |

I figured it out myself. It is a TVR Griffith 400. I googled 351 windsor in a 1964 car and came up with it. Cool car, bet it will scream.

Think this car with a Ford V8, and a large life insurance policy.
1972 TVR Vixen this one has a hyped up Triumph TR6 motor pushing about 220+ still enough power with the weight of this car to get you into a lot of trouble. (1600lb) ![]() ![]() |
