...is there a good (meaning free) internet source for pdf stuff like an owner's manual or parts list or diagrams or such stuff? maybe some parts catalogs with diagrams? trying to educate myself. thanks, jim

One note: Not all of the Pelican articles apply to all years. Some of the information is specific to whatever year 914 the author was working on when he wrote up the article. (See: Ignition switch; the procedure as written is for the 72-74 914s only, because the 70-71 switches are different and the 75-76 switches are also different.)
Usually checking instructions for the wrong year will get you close enough to figure out the rest on your own, but sometimes the remaining steps are not obvious. --DD |
