This past Thursdays episode with the 356 powered Ghia was not bad, but not great. The Ghia was better then the guest. Also the "spare parts" reel should not have been cut, they were better then what made the final edit. The Episode before that one, with Super Dave and a 6.3 Benz was a dud, as far as I was concerned.
I'm looking forward to the next one with the 356. Zach |

Its a semaphore. Great video. Super great VW (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) Given Jerry's love of autos from the VW Empire let's hope we continue to see such air cooled madness! It's interesting to hunt for the Nissan Cube chase vehicle in the reflections in exterior shots, and how it's apparent that some of the "casual" outdoor stationary scenes in different episodes are blocked off from the camera phone wielding, oogling public! Back back you savages! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) |

QUOTE The Episode before that one, with Super Dave and a 6.3 Benz was a dud My faves so far have been the episodes with Alec Baldwin, Mel Brooks and Brian Regan. I liked the Super Dave episode, but am not necessarily a fan of his. However, I thought his Redd Foxx story was hilarious! "Can't a man relax?!" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) I thought the cars in the episodes were all Jerry's, but then I noticed at the end of each episode it says something to the effect of "Car x provided by..." So maybe they're not his after all. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |

The Michael Richards episode started great, but then the entire second half was an apology for the outburst that happened 7 years ago. Man, get over it already. Its been nearly a decade!

I love that baby blue karmann ghia in one of the episodes, especially since it's been modified with all Porsche stuff. I am seriously thinking about picking one of those up or maybe a 76 912e...

Which one is more comfortable to sleep in? Ha a square back may be a better alternative if you're looking for a place to sleep! That or the roof rack mounted tent seen on some beetles mounted up to either Karmann Ghia or 912e! If you haven't been following the show, the latest episode has some serious Porsche content.

Wonder if this was the one at Hershey AACA Museum this year during the Swap Meet?

The one in the top pic has a deco strip on the front bumper. The true lightweight at Hershey has the color matching vinyl strip provided by the factory. Some of the RS Carrera cars were built as touring cars w/o all of the lightweight goodies.

You just know Jerry wanted to punch it in the tunnel but there was too much traffic. |
