Wednesday was a banner day. Was invited to a private track session more of a test and tune day for a friends car that is going to Monterey for the historics.

Near the end of the day, he turns to me and says grab your helmet, it's your turn (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I didn't give him time to change his mind. I drove like a grandma around the turns, but holy hell the twin plug 3.0 motor is insane!!!

So huge bucket list item crossed of the list

The car is the Wollek driven 1975 Jägermeister RSR/RSK

Story on the car here...

Video of a "real" lap that day, not me.

The trans seemed geared perfect for that course. There are some crazy long throws on that shift lever.

Yes, the RSR's ect had longer throws than a street box. 2-3 shift was huge

Different car, that may be the clone/tribute car from overseas.

If anybody is going to Monterey in August for the Historics, look for me. We will be in the pits along with another white RSR (Beverly Hills Porsche Livelry) a 1927 Bugatti T37A, a Cooper Monaco, a few others. Red Toter, plain white stacker trailer.

Heard of this : A shot glass of Jägermeister dropped into a glass of Red Bull energy drink makes a cocktail called a Jägerbomb.

You'd have to ask them. I'm not in the market, so I didn't ask.
