I'm considering a purchase that would require transport from the west coast to the southeast?
Anyone have a recommendation for enclosed carry? |

I had a great experience with Reliable Auto Carriers taking my 914-6 out and back from Monterey CA to Chicago for last year's Parade. Nice drivers and good communications.

Horseless carriage worked fine for me + it was fun watching the 350# driver get in to the Bumblebee Racer and drive it on to the truck. He sweated out at least a liter! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Interstate and Reliable for sure.
My friend's 914/6 was just picked up at my house by Plycar - good communication and did all "paperwork" on a tablet. I had a PDF emailed to me of the transaction in 10 minutes after it was loaded up. http://plycargroup.com/ I had never heard of them before this transaction. |

+1 on Plycar.
An east coast dealer used them to send me a car a few years ago. I would not hesitate to use them again. |

I've had very good luck with uShip on a number of occasions. The advantage is that you can look for someone who will be the only driver / only trailer from door to door. Many of the big guys transfer at depots.
The other advantage to uShip is that, much like ebay, you have reviews from people who have actually used the various transporters. You will get bids from the big guys as well as some questionable haulers but you can easily weed those out. |

I had very good luck with Enclosed vehicle transport. Once loaded on the truck, it does not come off. Very easy to work with and kept me informed of where they were.
