These calipers are fitted to my 914-6 but I cant see any serial numbers on them. Might anyone recognise what car they originally came from. The previous owner is sure that they are Porsche. Thanks, Tony. |

I assume no ebrake.
Need a pic of the backside. Are there nuts on the fasteners that hold the two halves together? Most likely Early front calipers with a spacer for the vented rotors |

That is actually my problem Mark Henry. I imported the car from the US, and it has a hydraulic ebrake, which is illegal in the UK for road use. I am really struggling to find a solution. Brembo make some wonderful ebrake calipers for £400, which I have purchased. They are big though, and its difficult to mount them next to the existing calipers. The car is with a top Porsche specialist here, but virtually no one this side of the pond understands the 914. Its a nightmare ! |

Buy Chris folleys/tangerine racing, 911 ebrake conversion. It's $120 for the kit. You source the 911 ebrake and have the kit welded on. It's a very small package so shipping is cheap, the welding and mods are minimal, 911 ebrake parts are easy to source, and you can use the calipers you have instead of pricey 914-6.
Or buy 914-6 calipers from pmbperformance. $1000 gets you his excellent reproductions. If you want the origional calipers for your car, Eric/ Pmb often has a set but you will have to call him and ask. Probably around $2000 if in stock. Either of these solutions will give you excellent results. Ps. Return the brembos. |

PMB's alloy 914/6 rear would be the most "correct" plug and play solution (outside real /6 rears at 2x the price) and would get you back to a cable operated hand brake.
