Hey Guys...

Work is once again continuing on the V8 project. I am thinking of using a Boxster muffler?

I saw some photos on someone's thread with a Boxster muffler mounted in the stock or close to stock location? But I cant find the thread now?

Anyone know?

I tried the search but no luck...

Thanks for your help!!

I just finished ls1 / boxster S 6 speed and I would not have room for that.
I ended up with MagnaFlow hp2's duels.
Good luck.

It might. The Boxster muffler is ridiculously heavy and at the back of your car. If your high HP 914 is also tipping weight towards the back, the Boxster muffler will not help.

You sure those HP2 mufflers are Magnaflows. They look like Flowmaster Hushpower 2's to me from the pictures you posted.
I wondered how quiet they were. I need a smaller muffler for the rear suspension mods I'm doing to my car.

we just put 2 magnaflows on my 307 sbc and they are a big QUIETING improvement over glasspacks (and no more drone) but they still could have used some resonators to get rid of some lingering odd sounds.
