I had a Fiat 850 sedan in the seventies.
I upgraded it with a 903 cc Spider engine, front disc brakes and real mag wheels.
I had a lot of fun in that car.
This car is even smaller and cute"r. I couldn't help myself.
600 cc monster. Suicide doors.
Can you say "sei cento" ?

600cc. How many cylinders?

It's Italian, twelve cylinders.
Actually 4 cyl. , water cooled.
500s were 2 cyl. air cooled

Very cool. If you're not restrained by keeping it OEM, "bike motor" seems a cool answer. Heck, the OEM motor might be worth a few bucks to someone interested in a more factory restoration. Interesting what you might do with a 600cc bike engine, just to keep with the 600 theme. Although in this case, I think bigger really would be better. Maybe with a turbo...

It's a 1959.
1959 was the last year Chrysler offered the 392 Hemi.
Fiat and Chrysler are now partners.
It's getting a HEMI !

I've seen a couple with VW type 1 engines.
One used to be at the north east VW drags all the time in the 90's.

......not really.
It is absolutely un-molested with all original paint......it'll remain that way.
It'll get some rust repair and everything will work as it should.
