Mark, how difficult/expensive is it to find the steel straps? I may be interested in this depending on the challenge in finding the rest of the needed items. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

I'm already running 911 struts and Boxster brakes, so this might be a great addition...Might like to run the under car sway bar as my 914 does not have sway bars, yet.

Thanks,

Mike

Under the car sway bar does require a different mount on the a-arm. Used straps are fine if someone has them. They aren’t really a wear item.

Dansk sells the later under body sway bar A arms.

I bought this same Aluminum cross member and used it with through the body A arms sway bar. I mainly bought this cross member because it has the fuel pump mounts on it.

This test fit has the Uro straps. Mark's is a good value and these are easy to install. Buy it.

This is the brace part as they came on 85 Carrera. Note that there is a second part a strap for the rubber part that holds the sway bar. My A Arm’s have Elephant polly bronze like what I have in my 6 number 41

The stock 914 tray does not fit. I believe you can use a 911 tray or make one to fit. I have a couple for future builds but I have not put one on my own 914 yet.

Raynekat/Doug, made a nice one out of aluminum sheet for his white car “snoopy”

So, I think I have to take it. Every damn time I see one, I want one. I suppose I’ll need to pull the trigger to put and end to the silliness lol…

I put a full 911sc Front end in my 74 2.0 and the only thing I had to change was the part that went from the steering rack to the steering wheel.
I used my 914 one.

It was a fresh SC as it was in 79

By the way the handling was so improved and the sway bar was just right

I bought a new 911 tray for $200.00 from Sierra Madre. The used ones are usually banged up and rusted. Fits good enough..
