If this car sells, Barrent Jackson doesnt have anything on this guy. Is this a members car? Anyone know this car? He must not drive it very much. I would love to see this car in person. Someone buy it and bring it to the WCC so I can look at it in Awe.

This is the ebay relisting that I have.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=4524045646
His first listing never got any bids, he had no pics and said that it was just like a couple of other cars on ebay.
This has been relisted and some of the pics are of the carthat was east and listed
for @$16500. So I am still wondering if any of th epics are of the actual car he has relisted??

It was on a week or two ago w/o any pictures. It went up to $3000 w/ no bids. Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=4521954172

"I am placing a high first bid to eliminate the agony for those of you who might think this is a $2500 or even $4500 car" Damn. I don't know if I'll ever recover.

So is that a new marketing strategy? If it doesnt make it the first time, double what was bid on it and try it again? Seems that he may be the only one who thinks it is worth 16.5k. cant blame him for trying though.

It charges an insertion fee of about $40, but no commission or anything like that. Hell, even if it doesn't sell, $40 ain't bad for the advertising!

this guy is an idiot, member of the bbs or not. first off, he has some pics of a car that IS NOT HIS. secondly, what is this "placing the first bid" crap? is that just because he relisted it at a higher starting price?

Both driver and passenger mirrors are the same but definitely not factory. Check out the leopard seat covers. I'm sure they are hiding something.

Either he is a member here or someone told him about this thread, his pictures have changed since I posted this. I swear the mirrors were different when I first looked at the auction. And the small pictures are now gone.

From the auction:
Note: Previously displayed photos 8, 9, 10 and 11 were of the wrong car. If anyone wants to cancel their bid I fully understand. I used #9 by accident and did not discover the error until it was pointed out to me. 8, 10 and 11 were used because they were representative of the appearance of the car. They were not intended to mislead. If necessary, I will agree to canceling the auction. I can assure you, the photos were not misleading.

Funny thing is, there have been no bids.

PICS NOT HIS? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) Damn!, those leopard seat covers could be the driving factor! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif)

The PO sounds conflicted. $16k for Buy It Now price, but gives every opportunity for the prospective buyer to back out..Just my .02. My condolences for the sucker that buys it for what he/she/they want. If he is so mortified of selling it, he should keep it. For 16K you can build one.

No pics of the interior or engine. It looks like the gaug panel is kind of chipped, and possibly repainted. Or it could just be a poor quality picture. A nice car, but I would question the $16,500 price. A lot more pictures would be helpful.
