I recently acquired the attached shift knob which I believe is an older Momo Anatomico knob, but I am not certain. The bottom cap is different from what is sold now, there is no Momo script in the leather and there are no red Momo Anatomico shift knobs for sale at present. Any feedback on this one is appreciated.

The Shifter looks almost real, but I've never seen a MOMO shifter without a threaded bottom

Nardi made knobs that looked like that in the 80’s. I know someone made a steering wheel that was similar. Kind of a ‘Benetton’ look. Nardi (at least as I remember) had a small rectangular badge on it, which I don’t see here. But the shape and attachment type is the same as the Nardi.

That red knob looks like an imitation Momo style of shift knob. There were lots of them being sold in various colors at Pep Boys, Auto Zone, O’Reillys etc., in the late 1990’s and early2000’s. But now that the younger generation can’t drive a car with a manual transmission, the shift knob aftermarket has collapsed. Those imitations were usually sold with long nylon sleeves of various sizes that you put on the shift lever so the set screws in the bottom side of the knob had something to bite into and hold the knob onto the shift lever.

I took someone’s advice and checked an old Automotion catalogue (1980s). Sure enough they were selling Dino shift knobs which were only slightly less expensive than the Momo shift knobs. I am surprised no one remembered these from the old catalogues.
