I doubt pfishers are hanging out here.

I know it's related to a virus. Similar thing happened to my wife and she never posted her paypa e-mail anywhere.

I recieved a spoof email yesterday that was different than the spoofs I regularly see, claiming someone was trying to log on to my account internationally. His name is Osama. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

here: AVG - gets its virus database updates, then runs its scan - every night, every machine (except for right now, the Dell that's 10-7 with a dead power supply (proprietary...).

every machine runs Microsoft's (acquired) beta spyware scan - every night.

But I don't believe our posts are searchable by google. And if you wanted to find an e-mail account here, you would have to know the address.

Search function on 914club will not let you look for the @ symbol alone... maybe .com

where/how do I get ahold of this free software and anti-viral stuff?

tonight I intend to plug in my 1st ever computer and see If I can figure out how to install/download things.

I picked it up used yesterday and have never had a computer before. And have never maintained or set up a computer before. (always used the one at work..Shhh)
