Bozzani P+A was a dealership in Monrovia, California. Don't know if it is still in business. They imported a 914-6 GT in 1971. Check out 914-6 GT
Is this the car you had in your shop?

i'm pretty sure Bozzani is long gone - i worked in Monrovia in 1990 and the closest dealer i could find was Rusnak in Pasadena. i remember those buckles being advertised in Pano but i can't recall what they were going for then. as for current value? somewhere between paperweight and priceless treasure.

the 356 guys sometimes pay outrageous sums for license plate frames from the dealership their car was originally sold through, but i doubt this would fall into that category. put it on EBay and see who bites...

if i were to associate a name with the Bozzani 917, it'd be George Follmer, but i can't remember why i think that...

Bozanni P+A was in Monrovia as stated. They went out of business a long time ago. When I worked for Bill Cuddy (914/6 racer), we kept a Porsche Daytona Coupe there for a while. The name I associate with Bozanni is Alan Johnson.

But that was a LONG time ago.

AJ went on to have a dealership in the Sports Arena area of San Diego, but i think he's gone on to other things now, and i haven't been to that part of San Diego in at least 20 years... he is (or was...) the 'AJ' in 'AJ Racing' (AJR) and AJ-USA.

Bob Bozzani was in Monrovia until the early 70s, as I recall, and moved to a big new building on the San Bernardino Fwy in Covina about the time I was at Rusnak, 73-74. He's still there, but no longer sells Porsches and Audis. As he sells Volvos and VWs, one wonders what happend to Harry Hill VW, just a few blocks down the street. Googling the name, one finds Harry is now a Pugeot dealer. Odd. Alan Johnson campaigned various cars for them in SCCA, including anearly 60s bug with a Porsche motor. He was kinda rewarded with a Porsche dealership opportunity after that. AFIK, George Follmer was never part of their team. He started out with the guys at Trans Ocean Motors in Pasadena, a few miles west of Bozzani's Monrovia store, and on the same street. He bought the VW/Porsche dealership in Pomona from Johhny Catron, a famous big band leader, and campaigned his own cars. As I recall, he was in the insurance business prior to that. The Cap'n
