I hope this doesn't ofend the purist in you, but get a JC Whitney VW catalog. They have lots of rubber you can buy in bulk. Web site isn't worth squat, but here's an example.Rubber |

Dude that's nothing...you should price some of the early 911 seals.
I don't know if this is still the case, but years ago there was at least one repro rubber guy at the Pomona swap meet reguarly. Even if the shape isn't exactly the same as OE, unless you are shooting for concours odds are high that you can find something that works fine and is far cheaper. |

Try calling GPR. I got mine from them a few months ago for about $120. I tried one of the aftermarket seals for around $60 that a reputable vendor on the board sells. I didn't like it. Doesn't fit right in the cowl corners like the OEM and was just tight all around. I sent it back and bought the OEM seal and am much happier with it.
Price for the OEM is steep but I'll probably never have to buy another one. |

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) Do NOT waste your money on repo front trunk seal they do not work. Keep looking around for factory seal.

I agree. Don't waste your money on the repro seal. I bought one years ago. Didn't fit right at all so I returned it. Some repro's are OK, but not the front trunk seal repro.

Aaron,
I bought both the front trunk seal and front windshield seal from Dave at GPR this last year for around $220 for the pair. Nice oem seals! Good luck! rezron |
