The Oregon region of PCA is using this site to register. Pretty neat especially if a bunch of organizations climb on board

They already have climbed.
This is done by an outfit in Flordia that does most all of the PCA's electronic registration. A secure payment site is too much for most voulnteer based clubs to handle.
Our AX registration is going the same way. 25 bucks for pre-registration, 35 for walk ons as a carrot.

Hay, "they" finally got the AX E-reg. up on the website. Nice.

Cilck on autocross, then Pre-registration.
Anyone coming to the Parade and wanting to stay for the "After Parade"DE and/or AX needs to go there.

JP

I got a question. It took the registration for the DE but said there was no fee for the AX. Is it really a freebee? Dave, I think the March DE is for instructors only. Next open one is in May.

They don't start accepting reg. for the March 26 AX until March 1. Cost will be $25 online, $35 walk up.

Jim

I hope that's not so. The kid is signed up for his 1st driver's skill day in the morning and I really hope we can run in the afternoon. It would be a long drive for a morning worth of watching the pup drive.

Dave:
The AX is in the afternoon. I didn't hear anything about the DE being instructors only......but WTF do I know.

I did get signed up finally to the site. The "no fee" is internet BS....trust me (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Either way, the 35 buck charge is suspended for the first AX event. We'll get it worked out.....I hope, the site locked me up somewhere along the way.....sumbitch.

The guy in charge just got it set up this morning, I understand.

Jim is right, the March 26 DE is a half day jobbie for instructors only.
Sorry.

Dave, JP means March 12 DE, for instructors only.

March 26 will be Driver Skills (for Gerry and Dad too if he chooses) and AX in the afternoon.

If you signed up online for DE on 12th I hope there is some way to get a refund.

As of this morning, we can't register for the March 26th activities until March 1, deadline for lower fee is March 19th.

Hope I am making some sense.

OK, I checked site again and learned the following:

Contrary to a recent email from the guy in charge, we (or at least I) can now sign up for 3/26 autocross.

Edit: oops, wrong, as Dave noted, I can sign up but there is no fee listed so cannot complete the process (I got to practice typing though). March 1 and all is supposed to be well.

In checking the Driver Skills list of registrants, I see that Gerry Hunt is officially registered. However, I am a bit surprised to see a fee of $40 for D. Skills! I hope that fee would include both DS and AX.

JP, can you shed any heat or light on the $ question?

$40 bucks is what it costs up here and if you guys can teach him to drive it's money well spent. Hopefully he will hear that it's the decisions a person makes that make a safe driver and technique and practice that make a good safe driver.

Have at him
