That's because they figure if they say they are not in, then maybe you will actually show up for one of these events. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif)

Less than 4 weeks before the R66C event.
Still enough time to make plans to be there.

If you want to order a shirt you better do it soon.
The deadline is just over a week away.

What about track fees?

Thought I would ask that for Howard's sake. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Awards UpDate:

Dropped off the Route 66 Classic logo to the award maker this afternoon. Picture this if you can.

Wooden plaque base with a bright silver metal plate. On this plate is a color logo of the event along with the award titles, dates, and etc.

They look very nice, as soon as they have one ready I will take a photo and upload it!

"bright silver metal"? What's up with that, isn't the official 914 color rust?

Greg,

The other choice was a basic black with standard lettering in copper. The silver plate allows for full color grahics/artwork. They look great, wait until I get the photo next week!

I want to edit my original post. Everybody please stay home. Do not come to the R66C. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool_shades.gif)
I figure the less competition I have, the better my chances of winning one of the awards. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

Saturday night dinner is set for 7:00 p.m. in the mezzanine of Murphy's Restaurant & Bar in downtown Prescott.

Menu selections are still being worked out. Watch this space for details. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Nice choice! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif) Every now and then we will drive all the way to Prescott (2 1/2 hours) just to have lunch or dinner there.
