Sorry folks, I'm not into the thumbnail thing right now.
Pre-Show Party Pictures These images have been reduced in size by about 56%. I've still got the originals if anyone is interested in specific pictures. I'd post them inline but there's about 45 of 'em. The pictures were taken in and arround Metalkraft Coachwerkes in the Evanston area of Cincinnati. Although he'll never read it, I'd like to thank Mark Schacter for opening his shop to host this pre-show event for the local VW club and local PCA members. One of the local boys that's been showing his face in VW mags lately is Dave Conklin and his black '67 non-import (euro) Beetle. Dave's car is the Black beetle with polished centerline style rims on it. If anyone has questions about any of the pictures, I'd be glad to offer what little I may know. Enjoy Rick |

I'm not sure if it showed up well but there's a dark picture with a crumpled up shell on the floor. That's a heb too. The pic of the front half of a beetle only on a floor pan, it's also a heb. This guy goes to some great lenghts to make cars original agin.
I've talked to him previously about skilled labor. Taxes totally eat him up so he's a one man shop with the occasional part-time 'helper'. I've suggested that he hire everone as 'consultants'. I'm not sure he understood what I was saying. Two of the three 914s there were for sale. The orange '76 was the only one that was not available. Mor pictures to follow. The show is today. Rick |
