I have not touched my 914 since November when I had the ignition failure on the dyno. I'm 90% sure I know what the problem is and think I have fixed it. Once I remove all the cr@p and boxes I've been storing on top of the 914 I'll be able to access it and fire up the lap top and start all over again.

Mike, there are more boxes on your car than my dads truck can hold. Your going to need a forklift. We have one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/very_first_smiley[1].gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif) Seriously, you wouldnt be getting this car ready to bring to the Autocross would you???? There is one in Fresno next month. Dylan

The fact that you can get a day to work on the car with twin girls at home is a sign of good luck already. Keep us posted.

1st step forward, 2 steps backwards (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

I guess too much time has passed on working on the teener.....I went to go re-torque the wheels on the car since I noticed some of my lug nuts had only been half-way installed...upon looking under the car I notice a couple of bolts...hmmmmm???what are these for?? they "kinda" look like caliper bolts...doh !!!! I somehow "forgot" that I have NO calipers on the car....last year I took them all off and sent them to Eric Shea to refurbish......guess the new ones never made it back onto the car.....

So I struggled with the decision to install the new brake calipers and brake rotors onto the old ugly a-arms and trailing arms or just bite the bullet and in typical Mueller fashion, take things apart (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Neenless to say, the rear trailing arms are now sitting on the floor and the front suspension will be dropped tommorow for me to disassemble and repaint before putting all new stuff back on (IMG:style_emoticons/default/screwy.gif)

It's okay, I deserve it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The wheels are 17x7 Revolutions, low $200 each, hard to get from what I understand now. The importer is SSP Motorsports
