2 brother-in-laws...
one was a student, the other with lots of experience.
both running D-jet 1.7's (all 4 cylinders have to be 1.7's due to the 1972-earlier rule)

Wait until you see more pictures tomorrow.
some neat little ideas on those cars.

I invited them to the lajunta DE but they will likely run in pueblo at the nostalgia wheel to wheel event that same weekend.

The colorado group is Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing

They are a member of the larger VMC and will allow visitors as well as allow locals to run in as visitors in the other clubs. But RMVR has their own sets of rules and are a little more strict than many. For example Actual 2.0L motors in the 914's, and only 1.7's in the 914-4's, another is no fiberglass parts (the jag was an scca car allowed for the school)

ain't she pretty!
thats ginger.
we had a little ginger episode at the track I'm sorry to say.
she broke a rope and attacked another dog.
wife got yelled at by a passerby.
wasn't fun at all.....

speaking of big dogs...
an exhibition car that was allowed to visit.
owner is awesome.. a great driver and a nice guy in general.

it has a good record and even cleaned up in a cali POC event in the past.
