Anybody know a good source for new Type I parts? My bro is trying to finish up a 69 bug.

And now after looking around the net some, is a 69 1500cc single port a Type I, or a Type 3?

I have been futzing with a Speedster that has a Type I turbo and FI motor.

www.jbugs.com is good, so is Mid America.
http://www.marksbugbarn.com/ has some good stuff as well.

A 1500 sincgle port IF it's a Type I, was a 67 bug motor. They also made them in the pancake design and used them in the squarebacks and some busses.
