Nice Car.
Whatta dumbass. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bs.gif)
Unless it's one of those "my wife is making me do this" sales.

i DON'T get why he put a stereo in that car?!

don't get me wrong, I'd take the car, for 15k or so (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I changed my mind, look at the screws on the dash. I find that
if people skimp (sp?) on the easy stuff it spells disaster on the big stuff!

Won wuld think that a guy with $78,000 in reciets cood SPELL the produckt manufactaror names a little bettur!

The words are printed on the papers, for cryin' out loud. :toilet: I particularly like the "Zuse" fasteners for the bodywork...LOL

Anyways, the auction listing is actually informative and complete (for ebay), disregarding the horrendous spelling. Looks like a sweet car too. I sure wouldn't turn it away if it showed up in my driveway.

I e-mailed the seller. The engine is a stock 3.2 from an 89 carrera with a performance chip.
Prolly in the 215 hp range.

Here's an idea, can someone stop by and personally verify the 0-60 time with a few quick runs? Then we'll really know what we have! If by some STRANGE chance you don't get 3.3 seconds on the first try, KEEP TRYING!!!! Maybe the clutch just needs a bit of breaking in!

It does appear to be a 915 transmission on there. No Vellios "916" conversion for this guy, though!

I like how he did the clutch cable setup. This kept him from doing a hydraulic clutch.

This car has Jim Patrick written all over it. Jim likes to use the cable shifter and that clutch setup... as well as those mufflers. I think its a very clean car.

Its obvious that he had somebody else build the car. Dzus.

What's up with all the hen pecking? The 915 tranny mount and shift linkage is a quality setup. Excellence did a story on a car using the same mount and shift linkage and said it worked very well. As for being stupid for having a stereo in the car... What's wrong with that?

Check this out...

http://www.kurzet.com/knnipage.htm

His pictures for the Ebay site came from this site... he has a daughter.

I'm betting the younger son on the website wrote the ad for his dad and posted the car for sale.

I wonder if the daughter in the pics is into 914's.

Very NICE.

Check out the passenger door bar right before it meets the main roll hoop.

What is this?
