We only are sure were going to NOLA and the carolinas...outer banks or something...as they say in the movies...BUH BYE...

Umm Jim, you can't really go right now. It isn't a good time at work. There is a guy downstairs with a plumbing question talking on a cell phone...

Have fun... Be safe.

In Rhode Island:
the town of Mystik. Like the movie... =) Block Island is just off the coast from there. Tropical island off of RI??? Yep.

We also checked out Fire Island, partying ground for many, and it WAS awesome.

NYC:
Central Park Summer Stage has free concerts in Central Park.
http://www.summerstage.org/

Florida:
You've already taken the Kennedy Space Center tour.
The next space shuttle launch isn't until August.

Southport Raw Bar. Live, love, last longer. =)

Ft. Lauderdale/Miami:
Hard Rock LIVE concerts
http://www.seminolehardrockhollywood.com/hard%5Frock%5Flive/
You'll miss the largest boat show on the east coast.

Key Largo and south:
John Pennycamp State Park (1st underwater park in the country) No motorboats allowed. Great to dive.
Better fishing the further down you go, so I've been told. I think it's all good in Fl.

I rented a Mitsubishi Spider GT convertible and drove all the way to Key West and stopped along the way to swim with the dolphins. A blast.
In Key Largo... http://www.dolphinsplus.com/

Get reservations if you plan on staying in Key West. Peak season can be a zoo and tough to find lodging.

Awwww, scratch that east coast trip and go the the Bahamas!!! Bimini? =)

Asheville NC is worth visiting on your way to Blue Ridge. There are some very cool places to hike in Pisgah rec area south of town.

The Biltmore Estate is a neat tour.

Also, After Blue Ridge, you can go further east and go here

http://www.noc.com/

Rent a raft and do some rapids, or rent a bike and do some world class Mtn biking at Tsali.

On your way out of the NOC, you can drive the Tail of the Dragon.

Well Jim and Lyn made it to Western Mass. this weekend. Jen and I met them at Quabbin Reservoir and after some sightseeing there we had lunch at Palmer's Steaming Tender Resturant. Jim said they will be stopping to see other members on the way down south, so if stops to see you take some pictures and post them here!
