To really answer your question in the way you want it answered, we'd have to know the condition of the throttle bores, the completeness of the set, and the overall condition of all the pieces. Figure in the cost of gasket sets, and the time to put'em together and adjust them on the bench, too. Given they're over 35 years old, wear has to be a big problem. The Cap'n

I dont think the 914-6 ever had Zenith carbs.
All the -6's I have seen have Weber 40 IDTP's from the factory.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) with her... Those are Zenith's off a 70-71 911T (fuel pump on each bore).

I will take the bases in the bottom right of the picture. The ones with the snaps on them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

yesterday I bought a complete 6 for $750 that came with this box of extra stuff. Would be great if this extra box of stuff were worth $750 alone : ))

I need to get a number off the block asap to see what i have but the seller said it was a 1969 2.0

** ps - i eric - i hear ya - i'l give it some thought - but for the record this is not a for sale thread - at least not yet : )

You da man JimmyK! I want a 3L for the fun of it. I'm getting the grills in Monday since I have taken the day off. Just have to take a road trip to my shine bud and it should be done soon. Love that engine ya lucky dog. I'd rather go FI though just for giggles. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)
